Fall of Reuse
Join us for a series of opportunities focused on preventing and diverting waste from the landfill throughout October and November. Drop-off Day, Fix it Clinic, Pumpkin Drop and more!
-
Every fall, we accept paper bags (when possible) of leaves at the Southside Community Garden (900 S O’Leary St) and at the Bonito Community Garden (527 W Elm Ave) in the fenced section next to the compost bins. Any leaves donated will enrich the compost piles to support garden soil health!
When is the next Leaf Drop Off?
Days: Any day that leaves are falling!
Time: Anytime before the first snow
Where: Southside Community Garden (900 S O’Leary St) and Bonito Community Garden (527 W Elm Ave). Please leave the leaves in the designated area near the compost bins.

Don’t let those pumpkins go to waste! Please help us prevent your carved pumpkins from going to the landfill by dropping them off to be composted!
