Coop & Composter Rebates

  • At-home chicken keeping and composting methods work together to provide healthy soil for your garden and keep food waste out of the landfill. In order to promote these activities, the Flagstaff Sustainability Office provides rebates to help reduce the cost of purchasing prefabricated chicken coops and composters.

Rebates up to a maximum of $125.00 are available to purchase prefabricated chicken coops and up to $75 for composters. The value of the rebate is determined by the cost listed on the submitted receipt and does not cover taxes or shipping. Rebates are limited to one (1) per household and are provided while funding is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Once all funds have been distributed, the rebate program will end until the next fiscal year.

  • Read the terms and conditions listed below. If applying for a chicken coop rebate please visit: flagstaff.az.gov/livestock to review permit guidelines.
